A parent’s love is unconditional. We can never tell our children often enough how much we love them, and yet, they still test the bounds of our love to be sure it really is forever. We show our love in many ways: with loving words and tender touches, in the things we do with them, the things we do for them, helping them, letting them learn from mistakes, accepting their individuality, and letting them grow into their full potential. Several children’s authors write about the unconditional love of a family. Some are about moms, others about dads, and one is even about an uncle. These books work well for quiet, one-on-one time with each of your children. You can read these with children as old as 8, 9, or 10 because no child is ever too old to know the depth of your love.
