Tossed Halloween Salad Halloween Recipes for Kids

I have to admit, my family’s favorite veggies are tossed salads. They have never turned up their nose at any vegetable that they could douse in dressing. My little one, though, will pick out the onions before she eats it and my middle dd wikl eat around the black olives, but for the most part this Halloween meal
Ingredients:

  • Two large carrots; peeled and sliced
  • 20 black olives; sliced
  • 2 heads of Romaine lettuce leaves; chopped
  • 1 purple onion(optional); sliced in rings and separated
  • French dressing or Raspberry vinaigrette; put on by individuals


Instructions:

  1. Using a plastic lettuce cutter cut the lettuce into bite size pieces, or you can rip it.
  2. Top with sliced carrots, black olives and onion.
  3. Toss just before serving.
  4. Offer the French dressing or Raspberry vinaigrette to dress the salad.
